TD SleepSeal is a DTF printhead storage solution made for Epson-based piezo DTF printheads. Before parking your printer for an extended break, park the printhead in the capping station (or wrap it) and seal it with TD SleepSeal to guard against drying and microbial growth for up to 12 months.

How to use this DTF printhead storage solution

Use TD SleepSeal before long-term storage of up to 12 months. Park the printhead in the capping station or wrap it to seal against drying and microbial growth. When you’re ready to resume production, re-flush the printhead with TD DailyFlo before printing again. For shorter breaks of just a few days, use TD RestGuard instead.

Why long-term storage needs a dedicated seal

A printhead left capped with a daily-use fluid for months can still suffer from slow evaporation and microbial growth inside the ink channels, especially in humid DTF printing workshops. TD SleepSeal is formulated to hold that seal for up to 12 months, so a printer that has been off the line for months still starts up cleanly.
