By making a purchase on truedot.shop, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined below.


1. Overview of Our Policy

At TrueDot, we understand that sometimes a product may not meet your expectations. However, due to the technical and sensitive nature of printing components, certain restrictions apply. Our policy lasts 30 days from the date of delivery. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase reached your doorstep, we unfortunately cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • Unused and in the same condition that you received it.
  • In the original, unopened packaging.
  • Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.

2. Non-Returnable Items: Printheads

Please Note: All Printheads sold on TrueDot.shop are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable.

Why are Printheads non-returnable?

Printheads are high-precision, sensitive electronic components. Once a printhead is removed from its protective factory sealing or installed:

  1. It is exposed to environmental contaminants.
  2. It is susceptible to static discharge.
  3. It can be damaged by improper installation or the use of incompatible inks.

To guarantee that every customer receives a 100% factory-new, functional product, we cannot accept returns on these items. We strongly recommend verifying your printer model and part compatibility before finalizing your purchase.


3. Returns for Inks and Chemicals

We accept returns for Inks, Cleaning Solutions, and Chemicals within the 30-day window, provided they meet the following criteria:

  • Seal Integrity: The factory seal, shrink wrap, or bottle cap must be completely intact. Any sign of tampering or opening renders the product ineligible for return.
  • Storage Condition: Products must have been stored in a cool, dry place as per the manufacturer’s instructions while in your possession.

Shipping Deductions for Liquid Goods

For all approved returns of inks and chemicals, please be aware that the original shipping cost is non-refundable.

Policy: Even if your order qualified for “Free Shipping,” the actual cost incurred by TrueDot.shop to ship the product to you will be deducted from your final refund amount.


4. The Return Process

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Support: Email us at support@truedot.shop with your order number and the reason for return.
  2. Authorization: If your return is eligible, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
  3. Packaging: Securely pack the item to prevent damage during transit.
  4. Shipping: Mail your return to the address provided in your RMA email.

Note: You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.


5. Refunds (If Applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.

6. Damaged or Defective Items

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon arrival. If you receive a package that shows visible damage, please take photos immediately and contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

For printheads specifically, if there is a suspected factory defect, a technical report from a certified technician may be required for us to facilitate a claim with the manufacturer.


7. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet:

  1. Check your bank account again.
  2. Contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  3. Contact your bank. There is often some processing time (3-5 business days) before a refund is posted.
  4. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at billing@truedot.shop.

8. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, send us an email at support@truedot.shop. Please note that printheads are excluded from standard exchanges unless a manufacturer’s DOA (Dead on Arrival) is proven via official channels.


9. Shipping Your Return

To return your product, you should mail your product to the return address provided by our support team.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. If you are shipping an item over 1000 rs, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
